The zinc #rooftops of #Paris are an instantly recognisable feature of the French capital and now, the army of artisans tasked with installing and maintaining them are bidding to have their work recognised by #UNESCO as an intangible cultural treasure. But, say the workers, their craft is disappearing, with not enough young people taking up what is often seen as a humble profession.
