The realities of Chicago life spill into its artists' work, and newcomer Calboy has explained that he wants his rhymes to reflect the ups and downs of the world around him. And from romantic relationships to cultural community, they do. Guess that's why his mixed tape was titled 'Anxiety,' and his song titles include "Pill Poppin'," "Love Me," "Fatality," and "Ghetto America." He wants to work with Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift, he's writing a book, and he wants to stay focused. When he arrived to kick it through "Envy Me," the massive hit from his 'Wildboy' album, he was def focused. It's hard not to dig the results.
