How to Make a Chocolate Tart
The only thing better than a chocolate tart is an easy chocolate tart!
Ingredients:
For the Filling:
8 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
1 and1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 teaspoon instant espresso
For the Crust:
3 large egg yolks
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup almond flour
1 cup (2 sticks) chilled unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1/4 cup plus 3 tablespoons sugar
1/4 tsp kosher salt
OR you can use a frozen pastry crust.
For the buttercream:
1/2 stick softened salted butter
1 and 1/4 cup powdered sugar
2 teaspoons cream
